"Tri-County Memory Walk - Death By Addiction" is an event dedicated to Planting Hope and Growing Awareness. We want to honor and remember our loved ones lost to addiction and we want to promote hope and healing for those who suffer with loss and for those who suffer with the disease of addiction. If you weren’t among the hundreds of people who came to the first two annual Tri-County Memory Walk ev
ents we can almost guarantee you've never been to an event like this and we can absolutely guarantee you won’t want to miss the next one. Every May we'll come together as a community to walk in honor and memory of those we have loved and lost through addiction. The entirety of the event takes place at Serenity Farm, both inside of the Life Center and on the grounds of the farm. We are inviting everyone to send us photos of their lost loved ones so that they may be displayed along our walk. This event will feature a slow and serene one-mile farm walk, a sunflower seed planting, a speaker who will share their experience, strength and hope on the topic of losing a loved one and also a variety of recovery groups and non-profit organizations with information and resources for all of us whose lives have been touched by addiction. Once the Tri-County Memory Walk is over, all of the photos will be transferred into the Farming 4 Hunger Life Center where they will hang on a dedicated Memory Wall. Through their photos, our loved ones will carry a powerful message to the thousands of young people who visit the Life Center throughout the year. We sincerely hope you will join our efforts to plant hope, grow awareness and encourage healing within our community. For more information contact us at: [email protected].
