The next scheduled work days are:
BRUSH CLEARING: Saturday, November 8, 8:00 am. Meet at the carved bear tree. Bring chainsaws, pruners, hatchets, machetes or just your hands for moving the cuttings.
EARTH MOVING: Monday, November 10, 8:00 am. Meet at Maryland and Winding Way. Bring the heavy-duty machinery.

At this rate, the Bear Mountain Brush Clearing Crew should finish Maryland Avenue before the weather gets rough (there’s nothing worse than snow, ice AND branches scratching your car)! When you sign up, give your name, contact information, and soup you will be making. Soup choice is first signed – first gets.
SO FAR
Venison Chili
Lamb & Lentil
Split pea & Ham
Send your soup recipe for the Bear Mountain Soup Book which will be sent electronically or printed for those without email. [email protected]

Have soup cooked by the day before the event. Many soups can be frozen so you can make them ahead of time.

Provided at event – plastic 16 oz and 32 oz containers for separating soup, mini cups for taste testing, snacks, beverages
