On August 12, our chapter hosted a potluck picnic at Compass Park! We were lucky to have great weather and clear skies, making for a perfect evening together.

Twenty-two members attended and enjoyed an amazing array of food. We also heard brief updates from Ronik Kanevsky, who recently completed his first solo, and Nia Novak, who shared about her experience at EAA Summer Camp.

Nia will soon be moving to Berlin, and we will certainly miss her enthusiasm and presence in our aviation community!

Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this a wonderful event!

Another great night at our latest chapter meeting! ✈️

Steve Davis brought out his RV-14 and gave us a closer look at his experimental aircraft. He shared more about the airplane, the build, and his experience flying it.

Thanks to Steve for showing us his airplane! We always enjoy getting together, talking airplanes, and learning from our members.
