We have been connecting Ethiopian adoptive families for over 8 years! Our final summer camp will be taking place June 25-29,2025 and then we are offering a group Homeland Journey in summer of 2026! (C.O.F.F.E.E., an acronym for Central Oregon Friends and Families of Ethiopian Ethnicity, was founded by a Bend family who adopted twin boys from Ethiopia back in 2008. 2025 COFFEE CAMP, JUNE 25-29!

Registration opens February 1st at 9am

Happy holidays, COFFEE Camp friends! Yes, we are already planning summer 2025 camp, crazy as it sounds! Pop these dates in your calendar as we look ahead to our grand finale camp at Camp Arrah Wanna. We hope to have a huge turnout, which will enable us to offer a wide variety of programming for our evolving age groups. New options will include activities such as a Mt Hood Adventure Park day, dance party evening with Tezeta Ethiopian Band, guided painting on canvas with a professional artist, teen cooking class, guided mountain biking or fishing. Let's connect and network and celebrate our kids as they are moving toward young adulthood!

Are you ready? 🇪🇹🌼

Our annual New Year Celebration is back…..with a twist!! Join us for a family friendly event that includes music, dancing and fun for all. We will have activities for the kids, like face paint, bounce houses, and relay races. While families can enjoy coffee, food vendors, resource tables, and more!!

This year, we will have our community’s favorite DJ on the 1’s and 2’s, along with performances by Shambel Belayneh.

WE ARE STILL LOOKING FOR FOOD VENDORS, BUSINESSES AND SPONSORS FOR THIS EVENT. Especially stores who sell coffee beans, spices and other cultural materials - as well as restaurants. If you are interested in selling your food or products, please reach out to [email protected].
