Hello High Desert neighbors my name is Elias and I am creating a page for the kids around our community called
” THOSE THAT DONT”
This is to bring gifts and awareness for “those that don’t have” a lot this Christmas for those that don’t have a lot of money for gifts. for those that don’t have a whole lot of food. for those that don’t have a mom or dad, family, many friends for those that don’t have anyone to be with on Christmas and throughout the year
I grew up this way, I know what it’s like to be one of those kids that don’t have and it’s not the best feeling.. and to watch the madness at Walmarts and grocery stores these days of some kids getting everything they could ever want and dream of (which is awesome! as long as if it’s appreciated )There are some kids that would feel so good to just maybe have one thing big or small it would mean the world to them!
Like the gift of a bike. A bike does a lot not only does it get them out and exercise, it can clear their mind be transportation to maybe one there friends house or the park it’s also something that is theirs that they have control over that can’t be taken away or evicted or be the cause of not having food or a warm bed etc.

Especially right now during the holidays but throughout the year THOSE THOSE DONT would like to specifically focused on kids and teenagers that get overlooked and come from homes that may be going through some hardships and even with all these road blocks, these kids seem to go out of their way to be helpful to others. maybe give another kid part of their lunch even though they don’t have much to eat themselves because they know what it’s like to “not have any” kids that maybe have to take on a lot more responsibility in their home due to maybe only having a single mother or single father at home and not enough income or supervision to watch their little brothers and sisters, so they take it on I want to focus on the kids that even though they don’t have a lot, maybe get the spotlight for once I’ve been collecting some bikes of all different sizes and I’d like to specifically drop them off(after talking and confirming it’s OK to do so with their parents) drop off a nice bicycle to them Santa Claus style lol and thank them for all the things that they do even at a young age caring for other people and not only always thinking about themselves even though they could use some help and care.
These kids tend to get looked over because they’re doing OK and the focus becomes more on (for example)Maybe the younger child or one that’s misbehaving more then the others being mischievous because they need more attention (which may be so) BUT I just like to use these bikes as a reminder to them that your behavior, good deeds And selflessness is what Christmas is all about just a gesture of kindness. So if anybody specifically knows any kids that come to mind that fit that category that might like a bicycle please give me a call or text. I have probably 10 bikes that are nice and ready to go. I have some other bikes, but those need more attention if you would like to donate, I need to get more hardware and tubes and paints to restore them. That would be most helpful and appreciated if you would like to donate a bike as well that would be awesome! If you can keep them to a nice approachable gift style standard as far as quality of the bike that would also be appreciated lol I don’t necessarily have all the time to fix every single bike so the better condition there in the easier I can go hand them out, I’d like to help as many kids as I can on Christmas or right after it please get at me as soon as possible with any and all questions and inquiries. Thank you merry Christmas everybody!
