NO LONGER VALID as it has been UPGRAED to a Winter Storm Warning:❄️ A Winter Storm Watch is in effect for the Oregon Cascades from April 1–2 for a period of heavy snow. Expect 10–18" of snow above 3500 feet with a 50-75% chance for hourly snowfall rates over 1 in/hr at times Wednesday evening through Thursday morning. Travel conditions will be hazardous on highway 26 near Government Camp, Santiam Pass, and Willamette Pass, with relatively higher snow amounts expected at Santiam and Willamette Passes.

A long duration atmospheric river will bring periods of moderate to heavy rain to NW OR & SW WA Wed-Fri. Landslides, minor flooding of rivers that drain from the Willapa Hills, Coast Range, & Cascades, and flooding of small creeks, streams, & low-lying areas are possible.
