It's Member Shout-out time HikerBabes! 🫶
Grace is originally from California, moved to NY for college, and after graduation went backpacking to Macchu Picchu (Salktantay trek for 5 days) solely due to a break up from her college beau.
What a way to realize a lifelong love for trekking, international travels, and backpacking!
A few notable treks since her first: 19 days in Dhaulagiri (Nepal), 5 days to Kilimanjaro, 13 days in Patagonia.
Some domestic summits: Mt. Washington, Mt. Elbert and Mt. Rainier.
Before moving to Seattle, Grace worked on an amazing project in NW Arkansas for 4 years while discovering additional interests: sand volleyball, diving, festivals, and triathlons/runs/swims.
Now that she is here (and since Washington is so beautiful), Grace has less desire to travel abroad (she has been to almost 70 countries) and is excited for more LOCAL hiking, camping, and backpacking!!
So glad Grace came across Hikerbabes! She became VIP immediately JUST to attend Jenna’s Tea Party in April and our Hard Cider 5k Run in June!! And when she scored 2 permits to a Yurt stay vicinity Mt. Rainier…she didn’t hesitate to bring another Hikerbabe along.
They had the best PNW time! Grace is such GOOD VIBES!! A totally keeper 🥰!!
