Bicycle Re-Source of Bend We are dedicated to connecting bikes with people who need wheels. Bicycle Re-Source of Bend accepts bicycle donations from anyone.

We are a non-profit community organization which accepts any type of donated bike. We then refurbish and rebuild the bikes to make them safe and functional to ride.This may include overhauling all the bearings, installing new tubes, tires, seats, handgrips, drivetrain components, pedals and any other parts that may be needed. We then donate the bikes back to the community through many different or

ganizations including churches, schools, charities and government agencies. We currently work with approximately 65 Central Oregon community advocates. Most remaining broken bicycle parts and/or frames are either donated or sent to area metal recycling centers in an effort to make sure they do not end up in our community landfills.

This pleasant pink Schwinn Cruiser came in the other day as a seized up donation. It was a joy to clean it out, tune it up, and get it rolling on to its next home.
