Bend Food Project Building Community. Sharing Food. One GREEN bag at a time. Welcome to the Bend Food Project! Neighbors donate a bag of non-perishable food every two months.

The Bend Food Project is a revolutionary way to collect food: It's a donor drive, not a food drive. Instead of asking for one-time contributions of food, our volunteers (Neighborhood Coordinators) enlist their neighbors to become long-term Food Donors. It's incredibly easy, because we supply the bag…and we pick up the food! This provides The Giving Plate with a year-round supply of food…and provid

es donors with the ongoing satisfaction of making a real difference. They also get to know their neighbors, so everyone wins. Whether you donate food, collect it, help make policy decisions, or help out in some other way, you are what makes this program work. The Bend Food Project needs you!
