July 26th–29th at Camp Tamarack — a place where kids with type 1 diabetes get to just be kids 💙

From crafts and games to outdoor adventures and campfire moments, every part of this experience is designed to remind campers they’re never alone in their T1D journey.

Whether it’s your first year or you’ve been coming for years, we’re looking forward to seeing you in July ✨

Boone was still pretty new to Type 1 diabetes when he bravely headed to T1D Buddy Camp with his sister and a friend 💪💙 New diagnosis, lots of nerves—but also so much courage, community, and camp magic. Watching kids like Boone find confidence, independence, and normalcy at camp is exactly why Buddy Camp exists 🥹✨

The Central Oregon Breakthrough T1D Community Walk is next Sunday, May 18 in beautiful Drake Park, Bend.

T1D Buddy Camp is walking to raise money for Breakthrough T1D, the leading global type 1 diabetes (T1D) research and advocacy organization. In more than a decade of managing the only camp for kids and teens with type 1 diabetes east of the Cascades in Oregon, we have witnessed tremendous breakthroughs that improve everyday life with T1D — from therapy development and access, to expanding research, advocacy, and community support. Much of that advancement is thanks to Breakthrough T1D and it certainly makes our job easier and our campers safer.
