Our annual fundraising gala, Diamonds & Dust, is just around the corner — and this year, we're celebrating the Year of the Horse! 🐎

This is our largest event of the year and our biggest fundraising opportunity. Funds raised go directly toward scholarships, horse and animal care, staffing, maintenance, and so much more. It's incredibly important to our organization — and it's a lot of fun, too!

A huge thank you to the Cow Creek Umpqua Indian Foundation for their generous grant supporting accessibility at Healing Reins!

This grant allowed us to purchase six 5'x16' Mobi-Mats — portable, non-slip roll-out pathways originally engineered for stability on the toughest terrain. Installing them across our arenas, pastures, and paddocks means safer, more even footing for participants using wheelchairs, walkers, or who simply need steadier ground underfoot.

Since 1997, the Cow Creek Umpqua Indian Foundation has awarded over $24 million in grants to strengthen quality of life for communities across Southwestern Oregon — and we're so grateful to be part of that legacy.

This gift directly removes barriers for our participants and helps make the healing power of horses accessible to everyone who walks or rolls through our gates. 🐴💙

At our Diamonds & Dust gala on Sept. 25th, you could be one of the lucky ones! For $150, raise a glass of fine sparkling wine spiked with a "diamond." Only two of the 150 glasses hold the real thing: a genuine 2 ct. diamond from Pavé Fine Jewelry. The rest sparkle with cubic zirconia—still fun!

Once every glass is sold, Pavé Fine Jewelers start appraising until both diamonds are found. Whoever's holding them keeps them—no strings attached.

Yes, there are horses, barn animals, games, and nature to explore. But if you ask our participants what they remember most, it's often something simpler: a caring adult who took the time to really see them.

Healing Reins is all about connection. The horses bring kids through our gate, but it's moments like this — silly, unscripted, full of belly laughs — that keep them coming back.

Smoke season just met its match! Huge thank you to for donating two Blast air purifiers to Healing Reins!

For years, wildfire smoke season has forced impossible choices — canceling sessions our clients depend on, or worrying that medically vulnerable participants might breathe compromised air in our indoor arena.

Smarter HEPA saw that need and generously stepped up. Now, on the smokiest days of summer and fall, our riders, volunteers, and horses will breathe easier — literally.

This is what it looks like when a company's mission and a nonprofit's mission align. Thank you for helping us keep healing accessible, no matter what's in the air.
