A scout is HELPFUL and THRIFTY.

Come out on Saturday, September 12, 2026 to watch and cheer the scouts of Troop 18 race their scout-made soap box kart at the Kendall Auto Soap Box Derby at River's Edge Golf Course in Bend, Oregon.

The scouts worked hard during the summer to build their kart. They learned skills of driving a go-kart, fabricating the kart, mechanic skills, designing the theme, and collaborative building.

We are ready for the checkered flag to drop! 🏁🏎
