We need pumpkins!

We have a lot of kids at COV right now and we are planning a pumpkin carving activity on Friday, Oct 30th.

We are also looking for volunteers that want to support this event.

Pumpkins can be dropped off M-Sat at our main village until 6pm.

A Space for Parents to Process Together

Our hearts are with the Silver Rail Elementary community. In the wake of this tragedy, NAMI Central Oregon is hosting a free therapeutic processing group for parents and guardians of Silver Rail students on Sunday morning.

This will be a space to come together, share what you’re feeling, listen to one another, and navigate the many emotions that can surface after something so painful. Trained facilitators will guide small group conversations, creating room for connection and support without pressure to have the right words or know exactly what you need.

We are adding a variety of gatherings and events at the Central Library on Monday and Tuesday as kids remain out of school, and hope to provide ways for children and people of all ages to connect and be in community with one another. The library can also be a place to be amongst others, but in quiet reflection if that's what you need. Our hearts and thoughts continue to be with our community and with everyone affected by this tragedy.

Thank you Senator Broadman for your visit and your efforts to help us find solutions for ensuring we can keep doing our work!

I appreciated the opportunity to tour a couple of Central Oregon Villages’ sites today. Thank you to Executive Director, Scott, for showing me around and sharing more about this important work.
These villages provide more than shelter. They offer stability, dignity and a path forward for members of our community working toward permanent housing. I’m grateful to everyone helping make that possible in Central Oregon.
