The Central Oregon Villages team hosted the COIC Work-source Van at our largest village today. COIC provides a lot of support to people that we have staying with us in our villages and we appreciate the opportunity to collaborate in order to create positive impact by helping folks find the jobs and training they need in order to move on to more permanent housing opportunities!

Earlier this week Central Oregon Villages was invited with many other community members and elected representatives to “raise the wall” of a new home being built for an under-resourced family by First Story, a nonprofit lender dedicated to creating affordable homeownership opportunities for under-resourced families across the Northwest, empowering them to build financial stability and break the cycle of generational poverty.
There are many organizations working hard to find solutions to our lack of housing options. We appreciate all of them and Thank First Story for inviting us to this wonderful event!

A bank donated and built a garden space at one of our locations, a farm and a couple of generous supporters have pledged some veggie plants, but we are struggling to find some dirt!

We meet every 2nd & 4th Sunday for adults living with mental‑health challenges. Come connect, share, and be supported — trained peer facilitators will be there. 💚

This week we celebrate that one of our families, a Mom and young son, were able to move into more stable, permanent housing. At Central Oregon Villages we work hard to help our participants move into more permanent housing by helping navigate complicated systems, helping to remove barriers, and being a positive influence as they stay with us. We look forward to helping the next family that will fill this space and we will keep the door open to support as many families and community members that we are able to.

We’re happy to let you know that NAMI Central Oregon's In-Person Peer Connection Support Group has officially moved to a new location! We’ve been at our new home for a few weeks now at Central Oregon Villages , 62030 Dean Swift Rd, Bend, and we invite you to join us this Sunday from 3:00 - 4:30 PM.

Our support group meets every 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month, and it’s specifically created for adults who are living with mental health challenges. This is a great chance to connect with others, share your experiences, and find support in a welcoming environment. Our trained facilitators will be there to guide the conversations and help nurture understanding.

Come and check out our new space—we can’t wait to see you! 💚
