Something special is happening at Centro de Provecho 🥛🐄

We’re so grateful for our new partnership with Knolle Dairy Farms in Sandia, Texas, bringing fresh, whole 100% Jersey cow milk from grass-fed cows to the families who visit our pantry.

This morning, we shared the news LIVE from our Friday distribution in Alice. There’s something extra meaningful about local food helping local families, and we’re proud to be part of it.

Visit us every Friday at 1300 Wyoming St. in Alice beginning at 8:30 AM, while supplies last. Need a ride? Call REAL Transportation at 361-668-3158 to schedule a ride to one of our distributions!

A holiday reminder from Centro de Provecho:

Our Food Pantry will be CLOSED Monday, September 7th in observance of Labor Day, and there will be no food distribution that day.

Our next food distribution will be Wednesday, September 9th at 9:30 AM at 410 N Benavides St in San Diego.

Need a ride? REAL Transit provides free rides to pantry distributions held at 410 N Benavides St in San Diego, Texas! Call 361-668-3158 for transportation information or to schedule your ride before 4:00 PM on Tuesday, September 8th.

Help us fill Halloween with a little extra magic this year! 🎃
Centro de Provecho is hosting a Costume Drive to collect new Halloween costumes for boys and girls, babies through age 12. Every costume donated will be given to a child at our Pink-O-Ween event on October 1st, helping families enjoy the fun of dressing up without another expense to worry about.

All costumes must be new and donated by September 28. With drop-off locations throughout Alice and San Diego, there are plenty of ways to help us fill the racks!

September is here, and so is a new month of Centro de Provecho food distributions! Check out our September calendar, find a distribution near you, and make plans to visit us this month.

Our next stop is tomorrow, September 2, in San Diego at 9:30 AM and getting there may be easier than you think! REAL Transit is providing transportation to the San Diego Centro de Provecho location at NO COST for riders from surrounding areas. 🚍
