NMRC Champs and Open coming your way soon!

Please visit the Champs/Open page of the NMRC website to get the most current information.

Here are some things of note on that page...

Hotel information and discounts - Use the tab to see rates and contact the hotels to lock in your rooms. Two of the blocks close in 4 weeks (Sept 22) so do not delay. They are not large and will fill up relatively quickly once teams book.

Meals - Order form is on the website and ready to take orders. Cut off for those will be Monday Oct 12th. Once you know please get signed up. There is food around town and you can bring food in but those options can be somewhat limited.

If you have Alumni, Parents, etc... that would be interested in volunteering we have a number of spots available. If we had 2-3 volunteers from each team participating we would be fully staffed. Please consider volunteering!

Please complete the form to the best of your ability. Selecting a volunteer position does not guarantee we will be able to meet your request. Thank You in advance your your help for making this event possible!

We were LIVE at the Beltrami County Fair. We checked in with Vern and Beryl to get the details on what's happening tonight and going forward, and a recap of the first day...which was a record opening day. We were in the brand new Robotics building and talked with Jesse Frost of Cass Lake-Bena Schools and Tyler Whittington of Bemidji Area Schools. They are robotics coaches in the Northern Minnesota Robotics Conference : NMRC and discuss how this building in the Beltrami County Fairgrounds is the hub for the entire conference. Thank you for celebrating the grand opening of the NorthSTAR Center with us!

The Northern Minnesota Robotics Conference (NMRC) is incredibly grateful to everyone who came out to celebrate this exciting new space at the Beltrami County Fairgrounds.

It was amazing to see so much creativity, teamwork, robotics, and innovation all under one roof! From our FIRST Robotics and FIRST LEGO League teams to our community partners and hands-on activities, the day was a wonderful reminder of what can happen when our community comes together.

A huge THANK YOU to all of our volunteers, sponsors, partners, families, students, and supporters who helped make the NorthSTAR Center possible.

We’re excited for what’s ahead and look forward to using this space to inspire young people, grow STEM opportunities, and build a brighter future for Northern Minnesota!

Hey! Us again! More info on the NorthSTAR center grand opening tomorrow!

Robotics is growing as an activity in local schools, but finding room to build and practice can be a challenge.

To meet that challenge, a new space has been created for robotics students.

The North STAR (Science, Technology, Automation & Robotics) Center is located at the Beltrami County Fairgrounds in Bemidji.
