So, what exactly is ODC?

The Occupational Development Center is a nonprofit social enterprise that has been creating employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities since 1971. Today, ODC serves approximately 800 individuals each year across nine locations throughout northern Minnesota.

Our work extends from employment and vocational training to Day Support Services, Pre-Employment Transition Services, and partnerships with local businesses. At the center of it all is a simple goal: helping individuals build skills, find meaningful opportunities, and become more independent in their communities.

Hiring the right person is important. So is having the support to help that person succeed once they’re on the team.

Through ODC’s Business Support services, employers can provide opportunities for individuals while ODC helps with training, accommodations, supervision, and ongoing employment support. Job shadows and job tryouts can also help both the employee and employer determine whether a position is the right fit.

There’s been a lot happening at Warren Day Support Services! ☀️

From enjoying a fun-in-the-sun BBQ together to watching the garden grow, participants have been busy spending time outdoors, learning, creating, and enjoying the community.

We’re also excited to see the ODC fair entry come together for the Marshall County Fair. It’s been a great season of projects, activities, and time spent together!
