First City of Lights Tour of Homes

First City of Lights Tour of Homes A tour of holiday lights, in the Bemidji area, brought to you by the First City of Lights Foundation. Stay tuned for more details.

To add your home to the tour (free of charge) click the link to our event page. Each year, we compile a list of registered addresses and create a map of decorated homes for the Christmas season. It is free to register your home to be added to the list and help us spread the holiday cheer! We simply ask that you have your lights on from 5pm to 10pm, 7 days a week, from the night after Thanksgiving

Day to January 1. After registration closes, we will publish our map of the tour on this page. It will also be available for pick up at the Night We Light Festival, held on the night after Thanksgiving Day, in Paul Bunyan Park, as well as various locations in Bemidji.

The First City of Lights Foundation and The Bemidji Pioneer are excited to have partnered up this year to compile the annual list of homes and create a tour map of those that are decked out for the holiday season!

There is no charge to add your home to the list and spread the holiday cheer!

We simply ask that you have your lights on from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., seven days a week, from Nov. 28, 2025, to Jan. 1, 2026.

To add your home to the Tour of Homes just fill out the form below to register your home by Nov. 21 to be on the tour.

After registration closes, your address will be added to our tour map, which will be published online and available to be picked up at various locations around town.

Tour winners will be announced online and in the Christmas edition of the Bemidji Pioneer.
