What an amazing day! We are excited to expand our Indigenous Games programming and loved spending time with students from area schools for a fun day of inclusive games. HUGE thanks to Bemidji Unified Special Olympics and Bemidji Area Schools Indian Education for co-hosting, and special thanks to Dr. Dan Ninham and Dr. Sherry Holloway for leading activities with our youth leaders. And finally thanks to Rachel Taylor, Amber Lynne, Schoolcraft and volunteers from Sanford for making and serving such an amazing lunch.

Our hearts are with Jackie Stoffel and her family and we are so thankful for her tireless work over the years building our local Unified program. Over her tenure she has positively impacted so many young people and mentored so many educators. As Jackie takes time to be with her family, we are thankful for the amazing Unified Board who are stepping in to ensure that Unified continues on. Great leaders have great teams, and I know Unified is in good hands with them and with the young leaders who are at the heart of it all! We are excited to keep partnering with them to ensure that our community sets the standard for inclusion in our region and across the state.
