Skogfjorden is more than just a place for kids to learn about Norwegian language and culture—it's truly a home away from home. Whether bonding over traditional (and tasty) meals, participating in immersive simulations, or sharing stories around the campfire, every moment at Skogfjorden is filled with warmth and connection. It's a place where villagers truly belong and are part of the community. Skogfjorden is home.

There are less than 6 hours left until the deadline, and we are within striking distance of our goal, but time is running out! Can we count on you to make a gift of $50, $100, $250, or more for Skogfjorden to help us hit our goal in time?

Supporting Skogfjorden today ensures that we can inspire the next generation of courageous global citizens, guiding them to find their own sense of belonging here— their home.

For decades, thousands of villagers and staff have called Skogfjorden their home away from home. Skogfjorden has been a magical place where memories are made, friendships are forged, Norwegian is learned, and community is crafted. From the laughter echoing through the woods to the quiet moments of self-discovery by the lake, every corner of Skogfjorden holds a piece of our collective history and means so much to so many.

But preserving this legacy isn't just about nostalgia—it's about honoring the countless lives touched by the magic of Skogfjorden over the years. It's about ensuring that future generations have the same opportunity to write their own chapter in our storied history. We are asking you—those who’ve experienced the impact of this magical place and the welcoming community—to support Skogfjorden--your home--today.

Can we count on you to make a gift of $50, $100, $250, or more in support of Skogfjorden to help us hit our goal before the deadline at midnight tonight?

It's almost December and you know what that means... time for our Annual Skogfjorden Julepynt Fundraiser!

2023 was a big year for Skogfjorden and especially Gimle! In honor of our newly improved and expanded dining hall, this year's commemorative julepynt highlights one of the happy faces that has smiled down on millions of villagers over the past 40+ years. With a delightful orange ribbon as a nod to all the beautiful orange-infused artwork in the building, this julepynt will certainly add a touch of whimsy to your tree this year.

For every donation of $25 to Skogfjorden's Scholarship Fund, which supports villagers and their families in attending camp each summer, you will receive one of our beautiful tree ornaments.
