We made it through the August Pet Fixers Clinic weekend, despite the ancient trailer electrical connections melting and fusing out! Huge numerous THANK YOUs to our incredible volunteer, Kelly Reid, for dashing off and buying the new electrical parts, and to our very own amazing Jules Richardson for leaving his pleasant, calm, relaxing, family weekend to rush in to do whatever he did to get everything working again. Thanks to them, surgeries continued!
Despite the challenges, we performed a total of 82 surgeries - 21 neutered and 21 spayed cats, and 22 neutered and 18 spayed dogs - in just two days!
Thank you to the vet team who drove hours to spend the weekend working hard serving our community, Dr. Paul Anderson, Leah Kruzel, and Andrea Mann. Thank you to the volunteers who gave up their weekend to love and care for all the pets during their time with us, Pam Bellew, Daniel Domeier, Heidi Johnson, Caroline Larson, Caitlin Levy, Katy Lorsbach, Revan Lyles, Joli Moussa, Allison Noe, Kelly Reid, Brenda Rubash, Jaimee Towers, and Sam Westerman.
