Hi, Rotarians and friends! Lots of fun stuff coming up!
This Tuesday, June 2, we will have a presentation about Northern Township and Northern becoming a city, given by Chris Lahn, Northern's Administrator
Thurs., June 4 will be our turn at the Community Table for June. United Methodist Church at 4:30 pm.
Tues, June 9, we will have a presentation from John Rogers who has a fascinating life story — polio as a youth, abandoned in India, ending up in Seattle and then Bemidji.
Wednesday, June 17, we will be getting together at the Boardwalk to do mini-golf at 5:30.
Thurs., June 18 will be our monthly Board meeting, 7:00 am
Friday, June 19, our monthly service project will be helping with the Mobile Food Drop at the Sanford Convention Center. Here is the sign up:

Tues., June 23, we will have Sheriff Jason Riggs present at our meeting.

Below are the available volunteer slots for the June, July, and August Mobile Food Drops by North Country Food Bank. The food drops will be located in the parking lot at the Sanford Event Center. All volunteer slots are scheduled until 12pm, however the event may end early if all food is handed out....

We realized this morning that 2026 is the 25th anniversary of our club's highway cleanups! It was a beautiful, sunny morning! Happy 25th anniversary of good work, Sunrise Rotary!

We had a terrific Shred Event on Saturday and made $1700 for the YMCA indoor playground! Thank you all for the wonderful support! Coming this weekend: Highway cleanup at Solway!

Sat., Apr. 25, 10:00-1:00 — Service project/fundraiser — Shred event at the Boys and Girls Club parking lot. Set up at 9:30 ish.
Sat., Apr. 25, 1:00, after the Shred event — Social at the Watermark Art Center
Sat., May 2, 8:00 am — Highway clean up — meet at the Solway School parking lot
Thurs., May 7, 4:30-6 pm — Serve at the Community Table, Bemidji United Methodist Church, 9th and Beltrami Ave.

Please encourage your friends to bring their unwanted tax paperwork to the shred event on Apr. 25 — $10 gets your large box shredded and helps bring the indoor playground to the YMCA!

Tues., Apr. 7 — 7 am meeting at the Eagles: Speaker Erika Bailey Johnson, speaking about the Sacred Bundle organization
Tues., Apr. 14 — 7 am meeting at the Eagles: Speaker Stephanie Westerman, speaking about Northwoods Pregnancy Center
Tues., Apr. 21, 7:00 am — Service work at the New Day Center, 722 15th St. We will be sorting donations for the Center
Sat., Apr. 25, 10:00 - 1:00 — Shred Event fundraiser — Let all your friends know they can get a big box of documents shredded for $10 while they watch in the Boys and Girls Club parking lot.
Tues., Apr. 28 — 7 am meeting at the Eagles: Speaker Dr. John Hoffman, BSU President
Sat., May 2, 8:00 am -- Highway cleanup, Highway 2, meet at Solway Elementary parking lot.

Sometime in April (TBD) — Social get together!
