Northwest Indian Community Development Center needs Recovery Navigators in 2023-24 to support those looking to start their recovery journeys. We’re looking for great people and hope you will consider serving or helping us spread the word.
Serving with Recovery Corps isn’t just a meaningful way to give back to the community; it also helps make recovery possible. By giving your time and using your experience with recovery, you can make meaningful connections with clients and give them the resources they need to start their recovery journeys.
With training and on-site coaching, we’ll teach you everything you need to know. Navigators’ training and hours can even be counted towards earning certification as a Peer Support Specialist. Recovery Navigators are not sponsors or counselors, but a trained AmeriCorps member and peer who understands the journey of recovery from substance use disorder.
Perks of Becoming a Navigator
Get paid a stipend of $1,100 every two weeks
Earn up to an additional $6,800 for tuition or student loans
Qualify for free individual health insurance and childcare assistance (based on family size and income)
Positions for the 2023-24 program year can begin in August, October, or January.
Can you help us spread the word by sharing this information in your networks? Our best Navigators are often referrals, so please take a moment to encourage someone you know to apply. The deadline to apply is August 9.
