Juneteenth matters—and for ZeniMax workers, it matters enough to come together and honor it in community.

While CWA-represented ZeniMax Quality Assurance workers were not able to secure Juneteenth as a paid contractual holiday during bargaining, that has not stopped workers from recognizing the significance of this day.

Each year, workers choose to gather, reflect, celebrate, and honor Juneteenth together—because freedom, history, and community matter.

And this gathering isn’t just for those inside the workplace.

If you believe in honoring history, celebrating resilience, and standing in solidarity with workers and community, we invite you to come out and join the celebration.

Come break bread, connect, and celebrate Freedom Day with ZeniMax workers and supporters.

❤️🖤💚 Because some things are bigger than a day off—they’re about remembrance, recognition, and collective power.

See flyer for event details.

Today, we pause not for celebration, but for remembrance—reflecting on the courage, sacrifice, and dedication of those who gave their lives protecting the freedoms we cherish.

To all Gold Star families and those carrying the weight of loss, we remember with you.

Never forgotten. 🇺🇸

This is about more than just policy… it’s about protecting our future.

We can’t afford to sit this one out.

CWA Local 2108 Family,

As many of you may know, Cereta Lee — a retired Verizon Senior Manager — has served as Prince George’s County Register of Wills since 2006.

As she prepares to step down after years of service, a familiar name from our union family is stepping forward.

Belinda Queen Cunningham, a CWA Local 2108 retiree and former union sister and steward, is reaching out to her union family to ask for your support.

She has been active in the community for years, consistently showing up to help others — with or without a title.

If you know her, have worked with her, or have seen her service, we encourage you to connect, learn more, and support as you feel led.

***IMPORTANT*** SIGN ONTO FCC PETITION***

CWA Local 2108 is conducting 1 last push for members, family and friends to sign off on our FCC petition.
Unlike traditional phone technology, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) is not regulated as a “common carrier” telecom service by the Federal Communications Commission. This means the federal government cannot require large providers to ensure service quality, interconnect with other providers, or even maintain reliable 911 service.
If broadband is reclassified, it will fall under regulated service like telephone service and we have a better chance of keeping members due to companies being pressured to keep service up and running well. This equates to jobs for us.
CWA Local 2108 is asking members to sign the petition by next Monday, 3/16.

CWA members know that without oversight and accountability, the corporations that operate our telecom networks will not prioritize the interests of our communities. That’s why we’re leading the charge to ensure reliable service for all and protect good, union jobs. As carriers accelerate their p...
