🇺🇸 WE WILL NEVER FORGET — SEPTEMBER 11, 2001 🇺🇸
Twenty-five years ago today, our nation experienced a tragedy that forever changed America.
We remember the 2,977 lives lost on September 11, 2001. We remember the families whose lives were forever changed, the survivors who carry that day with them, and the first responders who ran toward danger when others were running away.
We also remember the service members who answered our nation’s call in the years that followed — and the families who stood beside them through deployments, sacrifice, injury, loss, and more than two decades of war.
For GTC United, today is also a reminder of something we believe deeply: service matters.
In one of America’s darkest moments, we witnessed extraordinary courage, compassion, sacrifice, and unity. Strangers helped strangers. Communities came together. First responders put others before themselves. Americans stood shoulder to shoulder.
That spirit of service is one we should never allow ourselves to forget.
As a faith-based, veteran-led organization serving a military community, we are especially grateful for those who have raised their right hand and continued answering the call to serve — at home and abroad.
Today, we pause.
We remember those who never made it home.
We honor those who ran toward danger.
We pray for the families who still carry the loss.
We thank those who served in the wars that followed.
And we remember the unity that showed us what America can be when we stand together.
May we honor their memory not only with our words, but by continuing to serve others, love our neighbors, help those in need, and choose unity over division.
“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” — John 15:13
🇺🇸 We remember. We honor. We serve. We will never forget.
