We need our disability community, special needs families, caregivers, advocates, and supporters to SHOW UP and let your voices be heard!

The City of Killeen ADA Transition Plan has the potential to help improve accessibility, inclusion, parks, recreation, sidewalks, public spaces, and community opportunities for individuals with disabilities throughout our city.

Now is the time for our community to speak up in support of accessibility initiatives and funding connected to this plan.

This event will provide a welcoming, low‑stimulation environment where neuro-divergent children, teens, and adults can enjoy the arcade experience with reduced sensory overload!

🎬🍿 Sensory-Friendly Movie Fun is HERE! 🍿🎬

Texas All Abilities Network is excited to help share upcoming Regal Cinemas “My Way Matinee” sensory-friendly movie showings! 💙❤️💛

These special screenings are designed to create a more comfortable and welcoming movie experience for individuals with sensory sensitivities, autism, neurodivergence, developmental disabilities, anxiety, and families who may benefit from a more inclusive environment.

✨ Features may include:
✔ Lower movie volume
✔ Dimmed lighting
✔ Freedom to move around
✔ A more relaxed, judgment-free atmosphere

Texas All Abilities Network is excited to partner with Fort Hood Liberty Village to bring families an inclusive summer play opportunity designed with ALL abilities in mind!

Bring the kids, meet other families, and come enjoy a fun, relaxed afternoon at the splash pad! 🌊

📅 Starting Friday, June 12th
🕒 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
📍 Liberty Village Splash Pad – Fort Hood

✨ Why families will love this location:
✔ Gated splash pad with only ONE exit
✔ Family handicap accessible restroom

Juneteenth is about bringing the community together — and we believe EVERY child and family deserves a space where they feel welcomed, included, and supported.

The All Ability KidZ Zone will provide:
✨ Inclusive family activities
✨ Sensory-considerate spaces
✨ Interactive games & fun
✨ A welcoming environment for children of ALL abilities

Many families navigating autism, sensory sensitivities, developmental disabilities, mobility challenges, or other unique needs often struggle to fully enjoy large community events. Our goal is to help create a space where families can participate, connect, and celebrate together.
