If you’ve ever had our loaded nachos, burritos, or tacos, you already know we have a serious obsession with throwing crispy, golden fried potatoes into just about everything. But why stop there when the humble potato can do so much more?

🐾💚 A HUGE Thank You to Guier Fence! 💚🐾

A year ago, Guier Fence Co. helped us turn our vision into reality by building this beautiful fence at Lily’s Rescue Rehab! We are so grateful for their incredible work and support of our mission. ❤️

This fence does so much more than surround our property. It provides a safe, secure space for the dogs in our rehabilitation program to run, play, explore, and just enjoy being dogs while they work toward their second chance. 🐶

🐾💙 Sometimes the Little Adventures Make the Biggest Difference! 🐟

Chico recently enjoyed a special outing with Michael, walking along the docks, watching the fish, and taking in all the sights, sounds, and smells! 🌊🐾

For the dogs in our rehabilitation program, experiences outside our facility are so important. Every new adventure provides enrichment, builds confidence, and helps prepare them for life in a forever home. ❤️

A special thank you to Michael for taking the time to give Chico these experiences. Our babies are so lucky to have caregivers who genuinely love them and want to make their days special! 🥹

Now we just need to find Chico a family to share all these adventures with! 🏡💙

🐾🍂 Dogtoberfest 2026 was PAW-some! 🐶💚

What a beautiful day to celebrate all things DOG! ☀️🐕

This was our second year participating in Dogtoberfest, and we had such a wonderful time seeing all the adorable pups, visiting with vendors, and connecting with our community!

A HUGE thank you to Tina and Allison for volunteering their time to man our booth and help showcase the special pups in our rehabilitation program at Lily’s Rescue Rehab. 💚 Your dedication to these babies means so much, and we are incredibly grateful!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello, learn about our mission, and show some love to our rescue pups. Every conversation helps us spread awareness about the dogs who just need a little extra time and a second chance. 🐾❤️

We loved seeing so many familiar faces, meeting new friends, and enjoying a gorgeous day surrounded by dog lovers!

They have each other. Now they need a family. ❤️

Summer, 12, and Murdoch, 8, have been through so much together. They were deeply sad when they arrived, and we’re finally seeing their personalities shine again.

We love these babies, but they deserve the comfort of a home—cozy beds, quiet evenings, and people to grow old beside. 🐾

She spent her break giving him a break. 🐾🌿

After working hard all day, Kaitlyn chose to spend her break taking Brad Pitt on a nature walk. She didn’t have to—she wanted him to have more in his day. More exploring, more connection, more joy. ❤️

We have a wonderful team supporting these babies. Our biggest wish is to see them find families of their own.

Brad has been with us since March. He needs a unicorn family with no other pets, no small children, and patience to build his trust. We won’t give up on helping him find them. 🦄

❤️🐾 ALL PORKY NEEDED WAS MORE TIME.

October 12, 2026. The day Porky was scheduled to be euthanized.

After 10 long months in a shelter, this sweet boy was about to lose his life without ever getting the chance to experience a forever home. 💔

But the incredible volunteers at Sand Springs Animal Welfare refused to give up on him.

October 14th. Just TWO DAYS after his scheduled euthanasia date, Porky arrived at Lily's Rescue Rehab. ❤️

It's heartbreaking how many wonderful dogs lose their lives simply because they run out of time.

Time to decompress. Time to learn. Time to trust. Time to show the world who they really are.

This is exactly why we built Lily's Rescue Rehab.

Thanks to Porky's advocates, the Sand Springs volunteers, and our own team volunteering their time, this boy has a second chance.

We've only known Porky for two days, but we're already seeing what a wonderful dog he is. 🩵

October 12th was supposed to be the end of his story. Instead, October 14th became his new beginning.

And now, time is something Porky finally has. 🥹❤️

💙🐾 Over 5 months. That’s how long Duke has been waiting for someone to give him a chance. 🥹

Duke came to Lily’s Rescue Rehab in May, and we’re hoping to find that very special family who will take things slowly, give him the patience he needs, and allow him to open up and show just how wonderful he really is. ❤️

He LOVES his stuffy toys, keeps his room clean, and has SO much personality! 😂 We swear he tries to have full conversations with us!

Duke would thrive in a quieter home with a family who understands his boundaries and is willing to earn his trust at his own pace. Older children would be ideal, no cats or small animals, and possibly another dog with the right match.

Duke may not be the perfect dog for everyone, but he could be the perfect dog for someone. 💙

He doesn’t need someone to rush him. He needs someone willing to give him the time and love he deserves. 🥹🐾

🧘‍♀️YOGA FUNDRAISER UPDATE – EVENT CANCELED!🐾

Unfortunately, Mother Nature had other plans for us! 🥶 Due to the chilly weather, we've made the decision to cancel tomorrow morning's Yoga at Powell Park fundraiser.

But there's still a way to support the pups at Lily's Rescue Rehab! 🩵🐶

Our wonderful yoga instructor, Beth Martin, is generously donating 20% of class bookings directly to LRR! Simply book a class with Beth and mention Lily's Rescue Rehab when booking!

We're so grateful to Beth for continuing to support our rescue babies, even though our event couldn't go as planned. 💕

🐾❤️ What is our therapy? THIS. 🥹

Watching dogs like Austin learn to trust, build confidence, and discover that the world isn't such a scary place after all. ❤️

Our trainer, Kayla, took Austin on a field trip to Petco, and we couldn't be more proud of the progress this sweet boy is making!

Austin encountered other dogs, unfamiliar people, shopping carts, and all the distractions of a busy store, and he handled it BEAUTIFULLY! 🥹

But our favorite moment? At checkout, a kind employee respected Austin's space and gently slid treats his way. After a few minutes of building trust, Austin made the decision ALL ON HIS OWN to approach her and take a treat right from her hand! ❤️

For a dog who came to us so guarded and unsure of the world around him, this is HUGE.

This is what rehabilitation looks like. It's not always about teaching commands. Sometimes it's about helping a dog feel safe enough to make brave decisions on their own.

We are so incredibly proud of Austin and thankful for our dedicated team who continues to give these babies the time, patience, and love they deserve.

These are the moments that remind us why we do what we do. 🩵🐾
