Are you interested learning about Bell County 4-H Exchange? Bell County 4-H Exchange provides an opportunity for teens in the 7th-11th grade to visit various regions of the United States. The Interstate Exchange Program involves a partnership between Bell County 4-H and a 4-H program from another state. Exchange takes place one week during the summer over the course of two years. While on an exchange, teens experience various cultures, participate in educational activities, learn about agriculture in different states, develop initiative, independence, and gain a deeper insight into one’s own values. It is a great opportunity to experience life in another part of our great nation. Fundraising and planning create many opportunities for teens to sharpen their communication and organizational skills. Exchange provides fun and effective tools for developing strong life skills, such as problem solving and teamwork. Guaranteed leadership opportunities and community service hours. Looks great on college and scholarships applications. Any questions please contact Bell County Extension Office (254) 933-5305
