Do you have extra plastic grocery bags at home? We'd love to put them to good use!

Heart N Hand Ministries is currently in need of clean, gently used plastic shopping bags to help our neighbors as they shop during Community Market. Donations can be dropped off at 200 B Street, Belton, MO during our regular office hours.

Your small donation makes a big difference by helping families take home the food they need while allowing us to stretch our resources even further. Thank you for supporting your neighbors and helping us serve our community with dignity and care.

It's that time of year again and preparation for 𝐇𝐍𝐇'𝐬 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐬𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥 𝐬𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠! We will be serving 400+ households complete TG meals the Sat. before TG (11/21) and there are so many ways to get invovled!

𝐒𝐞𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐨 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐝𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐬 about 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐜𝐚𝐧:
1. Sponsor a family/families by donating $50 per family
2. Donate food via yourself, a group drive, or off our Amazon list
3. Sign up to Volunteer in 3 unique opportunities
4. Register to receive a TG meal - Reg. opens Oct. 26-Nov. 1

𝐇𝐍𝐇 𝐌𝐨𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐖𝐞𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐎𝐜𝐭. 𝟏𝟒𝐭𝐡 in the Belton Assembly of God parking lot - 613 E. North Avenue, Belton, MO.

Lot opens at 12pm - Food distribution begins btwn 1:30-2:00pm

Line-up Process:
• Enter the church parking lot from 58 Hwy/North Avenue.
• Park in lines to allow the largest number of cars in the lot.
• Volunteers will come by asking for name, zip code, and family
unit info to input into our services database.
• Once the semi has been unloaded, parking attendants will
guide vehicles through to the Mobile Food Pantry

Today, October 10, is World Homeless Day.

Homelessness isn’t just something happening in big cities. It’s happening right here in Cass County, Missouri, too.

Behind every person experiencing homelessness is a story, a struggle, and a human being deserving of dignity, compassion, and respect. Our unhoused neighbors are someone’s parent, child, sibling, friend, or loved one.

Homelessness does not define a person, and everyone deserves to be seen, heard, and treated with kindness.

Today, let’s remember that homelessness is a circumstance, not an identity. A little compassion, understanding, and a helping hand can make a difference.

Today is . 🧡 Everyone deserves a safe place to call home. Let’s raise awareness, challenge stigma, and work together toward a future where housing is a right, not a privilege.

HNH Thrift Store 𝐢𝐬 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 $𝟏𝟎𝟎 𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐨 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐥𝐮𝐜𝐤𝐲 𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐚𝐭 𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐦 to highlight that all our proceeds go to people in need as opposed to say, Savers, a for-profit, publicly traded co. that earned $1.7 billion last year! 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐜𝐤 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐨 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐬𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐒𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬 !
