It’s Central Texas State Fair time!

If you’re headed to the Expo Center, you might see one of us in our red shirts (maybe blue…possibly white) scanning you in! Make sure to say hi!

“Why are the Belton Police Foundation and Belton CHIPS scanning tickets? That’s a great question! Just like our officers, we serve Belton/Bell County in any way we can (although we aren’t risking our lives like our officers)…and if we can have fun while doing it all the better!

We hope you’ll stop by the fair! There’s much to do and a lot to see! See you soon!

It’s the “It all came down to feeling compassion for her,” for us🤩.

Proof that what our officers care about most is the safety of our citizens, even if they need a little help.

This morning, Officer Garcia pulled over a motorist for a traffic violation. What he found was a mother who said she was having a "crisis of a morning." It also happened to be her son's birthday.

Officer Garcia helped the mom by picking up and delivering a birthday cake to the family. “It all came down to feeling compassion for her,” Officer Garcia said. “Not everybody is going to have a good day. Sometimes we can be the light in all that and help people out when we can.”

The mom said that Officer Garcia turned her day around.

“It’s the small things in life that matter, that make me feel seen,” she wrote on social media. “That make me realize I am in the right place at the right time.”

Our guess is, when you are donating to a cause, teeth 🪥 isn’t your first thought. But our Belton Police Officer's Association stepped outside the box and made a lot more healthy smiles happen 👏.

Belton Police Department Body Of Christ Community Clinic

Today is National Give Something Away Day. A day that encourages us to share with others and support organizations that make a difference in our community.

This year, we chose to donate to the Body of Christ Dental Clinic in Belton. Their team provides much needed dental care to individuals and families who may not otherwise have access to these services, helping improve both health and quality of life.

We are proud to support an organization that gives so much back to our community. Thank you to the Body of Christ Dental Clinic for the work you do every day, and thank you to everyone who finds ways, big or small, to give back.

🎉Congratulations Lt. Glenn Bennett on becoming the Chief of Police in Starbase!

We will miss your leadership and passion for protecting your community, but know you are bringing those same ideals to Starbase.

Today we say goodbye to Lieutenant Glenn Bennett as he begins an exciting new chapter.

Tomorrow, our community comes together to celebrate our nation's history, freedom, and the values that have united generations. We can't wait to see everyone at the Belton 4th of July Parade—be sure to come early to grab a great spot and watch for our parade float!
