Kid’s Cafe is officially underway… and what an amazing start to the summer it has already been! ❤️

I wanted to give everyone just a small glimpse into the heart behind this incredible organization. Summer Kids Cafe is about so much more than meals. Yes, they serve around 160 children each day, but beyond the food, they provide a safe, fun, welcoming, and inclusive place where kids can spend their summer building friendships, making memories, laughing, learning, and simply enjoying being kids.

The amount of work that happens behind the scenes to make this program possible is truly incredible. So many volunteers generously give their time, talents, energy, and hearts each and every day for the betterment of children and families throughout Mitchell County. Their impact reaches far beyond a lunch tray, and our community is incredibly fortunate to be surrounded by people who care so deeply about investing in the next generation. ❤️

I wanted to share just a small glimpse into the people and purpose behind this amazing organization. Summer Kids Cafe is about so much more than providing meals. While they serve approximately 160 children each day, they are also creating a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where kids can laugh, build friendships, make memories, and simply enjoy being kids all summer long.

What happens behind the scenes to make this program successful is truly remarkable. Countless volunteers pour out their time, energy, talents, and hearts each and every day to invest in the children and families of Mitchell County. Their impact stretches far beyond the meals they serve, and our community is incredibly blessed to have individuals so devoted to loving and supporting our youth. ❤️

Kid’s Cafe is officially off and running… and WOW what a start! 💥 Today they served 201 kids on Day ONE!

I wanted to capture these amazing volunteers in action and give the community just a small glimpse into what this organization is truly all about. Summer Kids Cafe is so much more than meals. While they feed an average of 160ish kids a day, they also work tirelessly to provide a safe, fun, welcoming, and inclusive place for kids to spend their summer making memories, building friendships, and simply being kids. ❤️

It’s a tremendous amount of work, but these servants continue to pour out their time, talent, and treasure for the betterment of so many children and families in our community. Their impact is truly incredible, and Mitchell County is beyond blessed to have them!

As we finish up the week, we have to give one more shoutout to Maddi Sutter and the incredible way she shares her talents to help beautify Beloit and surrounding communities.

Maddi is truly a difference maker — always willing to give her time, talent, and treasure to help others and make our communities brighter, more welcoming, and full of personality. From business windows to creative projects and beyond, her work brings smiles to so many people.

We are lucky to have people like Maddi who use their gifts not for recognition, but simply to make the world around them a little better. Beloit is better because of people like her!

From eye-catching storefront windows to creative artwork that instantly captures attention, she has a special gift for bringing the personality and spirit of local businesses to life for the entire community to enjoy. Her mission is simple but meaningful—showcase the heart behind each business in a way that leaves a lasting impression.

And during the holiday season… that talent is on full display. Maddi completed more than 40 window paintings throughout the 2025 holiday season alone, helping spread joy, color, creativity, and hometown pride all across Mitchell County.

But what makes Maddi even more special is the person behind the paintbrush. She brings confidence, authenticity, energy, and heart into everything she does, using her talents to brighten the lives of others and make our community better. She is truly a difference maker—and exactly what Made For More is all about.
