Jeff reflects on the moments that have meant the most, the people who helped shape his journey, and some of the accomplishments he is most proud of during his time leading USD 273. But even more than that, he shares what it has meant to spend 13 years serving a school district, a community, and a Trojan Family that became such an important part of his life.

This conversation is a celebration of a remarkable tenure and the lasting impact that comes from showing up, leading with purpose, and investing in the people around you.

There’s a whole lot that happens behind the scenes of a successful college athletic program—and this week, Bryce Beisner gives us a glimpse into a world most fans never get to see!

For the past three years, Bryce has been part of the KU Volleyball program as a student equipment manager, working alongside coaches and athletes competing at the highest level of college volleyball.

And trust us…there is A LOT more to this role than meets the eye! 🙌

Bryce shares what goes into keeping a Division I volleyball program moving—the preparation, organization, long hours, attention to detail and countless responsibilities happening behind the scenes—all while balancing the demands of being a full-time college student.

But spend a few minutes talking volleyball with Bryce and one thing becomes VERY clear…

He absolutely LOVES this game. 🏐❤️

Over the last three years, Bryce hasn’t just been doing a job. He’s been watching, listening, learning and absorbing everything he can from some incredibly talented coaches and athletes.

And our favorite part?

He brings all of that knowledge right back HOME. ❤️

Bryce has poured countless hours into coaching winter and summer volleyball teams in our area, sharing what he has learned at KU with younger athletes and helping them become better players.

But even more importantly, he’s helping them LOVE the game.

There’s something pretty special about someone who gets an incredible opportunity and immediately starts thinking about how they can use that experience to help someone else.

THAT is Bryce Beisner.

And THAT is Made For More. ❤️💙

Learning more.

Giving more.

This week on Made For More, we welcome back Bryce Beisner to share a side of KU Volleyball that most of us never get to see!

For the past three years, Bryce has served as a student equipment manager for KU Volleyball, giving him a front-row seat to what it takes to compete at one of the highest levels of collegiate athletics.

Bryce takes us behind the scenes of the program and shares what his role really looks like—the long days, endless details, responsibilities that most fans never see, and the challenge of balancing it all while being a full-time college student.

But what really stands out when you listen to Bryce is just how much he LOVES the game of volleyball. 🏐❤️

He isn’t simply showing up to do a job. He’s watching. He’s learning. He’s soaking up knowledge from coaches and athletes competing at an incredibly high level.

And then he does something pretty special with all of it…

He brings it HOME. ❤️

Bryce has taken the knowledge and experience he’s gained at KU and willingly shares it with young athletes in our area, coaching both winter and summer volleyball teams and helping the next generation develop their skills, confidence and love for the game.

And THAT might be our favorite part of his story.

Because Made For More isn’t just about accomplishing great things yourself.

It’s about learning more. Growing more. And then giving more. 🙌

Bryce continues to invest his time, knowledge and talents right back into the communities that helped shape him—and there are a whole lot of young volleyball players who are better because of it!

🎙️ This Week on Made For More — Chelsa Anderson & the Glen Elder Sport Court!

This week on Made For More, Chelsa Anderson shares the incredible story of how a small community saw a need, came together, and turned an idea into reality—and did it on an amazingly fast timeline!

With a population of around 500 people—and nearly 70 of them kids—Glen Elder has a lot of young people who deserve a safe, welcoming place to play, gather with friends, and simply be kids.

What was once an aging space with deteriorating concrete and outdated amenities has now been completely transformed into the Glen Elder Sport Court—a space created for kids, families, and the entire community to enjoy for years to come.

Chelsa walks us through how the idea began and how quickly things started moving once the community decided to make it happen. And one of the biggest lessons she shares is just how important GOING LOCAL was to the success—and speed—of this project.

Whenever possible, they turned to people and businesses close to home. Local contractors, local resources, local supporters, local donors, and people who already had a connection to the community stepped up and said, “How can we help?” Instead of waiting for someone else to make things happen, they leaned on the talent, generosity, and relationships that already existed right around them.

And because of that, things moved FAST!

It’s such a great reminder of the power of doing business locally and looking within your own community first. Those relationships mattered. People knew one another, believed in the project, and were willing to jump in and get things done.

That same philosophy carried over into fundraising. Every single dollar mattered. From large grants that helped move the project forward to a $1 donation from someone who simply wanted to be part of it, every contribution was valued. There was no such thing as a donation too small.

When you put all of that together—local people, local businesses, grants, donations, volunteers, and a community willing to rally around an idea—you can accomplish a whole lot in a very short amount of time!

Glen Elder may be small in population, but the Sport Court is proof that small communities can accomplish some pretty BIG things when they work together.

And that’s exactly what Made For More is all about—people who care deeply about where they live and are willing to put in the time, work, and heart to make it even better. ❤️

Chelsa shares how the vision for the Sport Court began and the journey it took to make it a reality. From planning and construction to grants and grassroots fundraising, this project truly became a community effort.

One of the most inspiring parts of the story is how every single dollar mattered. From large grants that helped move the project forward to the $1 donations given by people who simply wanted to be part of making it happen, every contribution was valued and every donor played a role. There was no donation too small—because when a community comes together, those dollars add up to something pretty incredible.

People saw the need, stepped up however they could, and worked together to create an amazing space that Glen Elder kids and families can enjoy for years to come.

It’s a great reminder that the size of a community doesn’t determine the size of its impact. Sometimes all it takes is one person willing to get the ball rolling and a community willing to rally behind the idea.

That’s what Made For More is all about—people who see an opportunity to make their community better and are willing to put in the work to make it happen.
