Thank you to Second Harvest Foodbank of Southern Wisconsin for believing in us at Caritas by awarding us a Retail Recovery Grant to purchase an additional cooler, freezer, pallet jack with scale and carts. These items will help us store and disburse more perishable food as well as support the logistics of weighing and moving food throughout the pantry.

We're proud to announce a $600,000 investment in 12 partner pantries and programs across southwestern Wisconsin through Second Harvest's Retail Capacity Grant.

These funds will help local organizations expand refrigeration, transportation, storage, and staffing needed to rescue more nutritious food from grocery stores and retailers before it goes to waste.

Congratulations to our grant recipients, and thank you for the incredible work you do every day:

All of us at Caritas send our thoughts and prayers to Jim Agate's family and friends. He was truly a person concerned for those in our community. His generosity to Caritas and many other non-profit organizations has helped us serve our community better.
