Thank you Ms Sharon!

Some people quietly keep everything running behind the scenes - and that has certainly been true of our Office Coordinator, Sharon.

After years of dedication and countless moments spent helping students, families, and staff, Sharon will be retiring from CareerTek. She has been such an important part of the day-to-day operations, always making sure things were taken care of with patience and a smile.

Sharon's last day at CareerTek will be this Tuesday, June 2nd. If you would like to stop by and wish her well, please feel free to do so.

Rock County (WI) and Northern Winnebago County (IL), meet Sue Murray.

Sue is United Way Blackhawk Region's new Community Impact Director and she comes ready. She served as Community Impact Director at Oshkosh Area United Way, where she coordinated grant funding, supported partner agencies, and built the kind of community partnerships that actually hold. She also brings deep compliance expertise from her work in affordable housing, which means she understands both the precision this work demands and the people it serves.

A few things you should know about Sue right away: her favorite color is pink and she commits to it. And if you need her on a summer evening, there is a good chance she is watching the Brewers. Go Brew Crew. ⚾🩷

Sue is ready to meet the Blackhawk Region and we think the Blackhawk Region should introduce itself right back.
