We heard presentations from our Rotary Youth Leadership (RYLA) students yesterday. These sophomores completed a training program designed for students selected by their school administration. The students represented Beloit Memorial, Beloit Turner and The Lincoln Academy. The training sessions, held at Upham Woods in Wisconsin Dells, focused on problem-solving, consensus-building, gathering input, team building, public speaking, and goal setting. Upon their return, these students will be equipped to apply the skills they acquired in leadership roles and opportunities within their schools. The Rotary Club sponsors two students from each school to attend RYLA annually.
