We're excited to present the best in local food: produce, meat, fish, dairy, baked goods, snacks, and prepared foods. Our vendors have a variety of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free products. You’ll find everything you need for great meals and snacks all season. We match SNAP benefits up to $25/week (formerly Food Stamps), double FMNP coupons (for seniors and WIC families) and have a number of HI

Lucky Bao Bakery is new with us this season. Bao are Chinese steamed buns with sweet or savory fillings. Jessica, the owner, says "What I really like about farmers’ markets is the community engagement, seeing people react to your product."

We couldn't show you any of her products in the video, because she sold out last time she was here (and, yes, they are tasty!). Come see her this week and see for yourself.

Great local food and POP Club Activity Day! Our produce is from vendors a few dozen miles away (not across the continent or the world). And fresher is tastier.
Buy ingredients, or buy a meal. You'll find a variety of prepared foods, all made locally, but representing worldwide cultures. And that's not all: local meat, fish and dairy; snacks, drinks, sweet things, baked goods, and more.

It's great to work with our friends at the Belmont Food Pantry. They support our new HIP+ food assistance program, where anyone who needs it can get $20 per month for produce at the Market. We've seen so many new shoppers because of this collaboration!

And they do great work all year round, distributing groceries and household products to Belmont residents who need them.

They're usually open the 1st & 3rd Saturdays, and 4th Sunday of the month at Belmont Town Hall. See BelmontFoodPantry.org for more info, including donations. You can bring items to the Market, and we'll be sure the Pantry gets them.

Spend a minute with Pinch Dab Dash, our new spice vendor.

Andrea, one of the owners, said that BFM "seems to be a real food market, where shoppers like to come and get the spices and the vegetables and the different foods."

She and her partner enjoy talking with shoppers, and having them come back to describe what they've cooked with the spice blends.

Come to the Market this week and see what they have. Those open jars on display are there for you to smell the wonderful spice mixes!

Meet Stephen Violette, owner of Dick's Market Gardens, our biggest produce vendor. They've been with us since we opened in 2006. His father started the business, and it's now over 260 acres of land in Lunenburg, Mass.

We visited them a few years ago, and it was a great trip — Stephen was so excited to show us around!

"I do love selling fruits and vegetables directly to consumers, because we get that direct feedback. … We grow so many more Brussels sprouts because consumers let us know they want to have them in the fall."

"Come out to farmers' markets, and don't miss Belmont."

Dick's is with us every week. We're in the Belmont Center parking lot on Thursdays, from 2-6:30.

What's up at your favorite farmers’ market this week? Your favorite very-local produce, grown by people you can talk to at as you browse and buy. It doesn't travel cross-country, just a few towns, so it's fresh!

And all the usual wonderfulness: baked goods, jam & honey, coffee, skincare/home products, drinks, pasta, snacks, meat, fish, dairy, & more.
