Update on Operation Respect!

We had 41 South Point High School NJROTC Cadets plus Sgt Major Robinson participating in our American Legion Post 144 Operation Respect. This was their field trip for 9/11. They wanted to show their Respect to veterans who have served and passed on. They cleaned a little over 300 footstones. Great job! There are over 680 veteran grave markers total to clean.

We also had Mayor Joe Jordan and Councilman Jason Rumfelt there supporting us and helping. Also helping was Bridget Summerville and Eric Summerville from Wreaths Across America. Please look this worthy program up and help support this to provide a wreath for each veteran buried at the Greenwood Cemetery. We are working together on both projects. From our American Legion Post was Susan Martello, Frank Martello and Barry Smith.

I greatly appreciate all who participated and support Operation Respect. A program I am very passionate about and was 2 years in getting it started.

If you want to support this and all other programs we have at Auten-Stowe American Legion Post 144 go to post144belmont.org and donate! It is greatly appreciated!!!
