A Lotta Love- Charlotte welcomed these cute volunteers to complete three rooms at Catherine’s House. One of these rooms houses, a mother who has visits from her son. She was thrilled with the room and the beautiful artwork donated by our friends at Cotswold Marketplace! We changed the layout of the range to create more space for her son to relax when he visits. We have almost finished reworking all of the furniture and furnishings in these 15 rooms. It has been a joy to spread ripples of hope and provide spaces where ladies feel more “FREE.” ❤️❤️Special thanks to Tricia Phelan, Erin Coronis, and Martha Serenius.

It’s and every act of kindness creates ripple effects! We have just purchased new furniture for Catherine’s House and need funding to make 10 rooms feel safe, calm, and welcoming. The final pictures show a new room waiting on furnishings. The older well used furniture is also shown so you can see your initial impact. Cotswold Marketplace volunteers have graciously donated another room at Catherine’s House! This room is for a mom and her 10 year old daughter! We love the details brought to this space by personal touches of original artwork, personal notes, art supplies, and more. This space will help our friends rest and soak in the sense of calm to tackle life’s unexpected challenges! .simpson.art ♥️

A Lotta Love-Charlotte received the sweetest donation of 60 snack bags for Charlotte Family Housing from VBS campers at Myers Park Methodist. These cute rising-Kindergarteners collected items and stuffed snack bags for children living in the shelter to take to their summer camp outings. There was lots of discussion about helping others and how it is good to be kind. We received several comments about the quality of our snack bag content 😂. One camper commented “I like helping the people!” We are very grateful to our volunteers and especially to Courtney Stout who organized this project! Are you looking for a summer service project? There is a great need to provide food during the summer. We would love more volunteer help for similar projects!❤️❤️

We are so happy to share the newly renovated space at Catherine’s House in Belmont. This space houses mothers and their children. This 100-year-old building needed a facelift starting with paint! We painted two floors, renovated the living room, and are renovating the space in phases. This begins phase one! The guests are loving the living room and commented that they are now excited to go to meetings there! Many thanks to all who donated on this project. Especially the Alfred Williams company for the furniture , Julie Kavanagh for the beautiful design and uplifting artwork. To all our volunteers, we thank you!❤️❤️
