Congratulations and thank you to the 2026 Volunteers of the Year, Shanntel Vogler and Bridget Horning, two of BEST PTO’s volunteerin’est members! Shanntel served as the PTO volunteer coordinator this year and organized the wildly successful Fun Run fundraiser. Bridget, one of our vice presidents, chaired many PTO events while also coaching/assisting for soccer, basketball, AND baseball. Great work ladies! We’re proud to have you on our team.
A big shout-out also to the other 2026 nominees: Hannah Scoledge, Mike Shaffnit, and Natasha McNutt. Belmont is lucky to have you!

Last week we celebrated and thanked our amazing, dedicated, best-of-the-best BES staff for all that they do for our kiddos and community all year round 🙌🏻

From candy survival tins to a nacho bar, treat platters and more, we hope this sheds even a little light on our immense appreciation and gratitude for all that they do each and every day🫶🏻

BES staff promised students a Pie-in-the-Face Day if our Fun Run reached its $5k goal. After reaching it 3 times over, they delivered!

Shout out to our staff participants for being amazing sports and taking a pie for the team, to Ms. Shanntel for bringing the run to our school, and an extra special shout out to all of our families and students for an INCREDIBLE fundraising accomplishment!
