It is hard to share the news that our daughter Jillian lost her battle with Sanfilippo Syndrome, Type C earlier this summer. We are struggling to navigate living in a world without her. We will miss and love you forever Jill.

Jillian Nora Burke passed away in her parents’ arms on July 4, 2025, at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston from complications due to Sanfilippo Syndrome Type C.
