Pack 56 meets at the First United Methodist Church in Belmont NC

The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.

Gearing up for another fantastic scout year! We'll see our Bears, Wolves, Webelos and Arrow of Lights next Wednesday! Lions and Tigers will start meeting on October 1!

In place of our regular den meeting this week, have your scouts wear their Halloween costume for our annual Trunk-or-Treat! We encourage families to participate as a trunk, but if unable, that's OK, there will be plenty of treats! 🍬

Here you see our Bear den preparing for next weekend's camping trip at Kings Mountain State Park in Blacksburg SC. 🏕

Set up will begin at 2pm on Saturday October 21st. Fell free to stay Friday night on your own if you'd like a little extra time.

Activities include 2 hikes🥾, fishing (please bring your own gear if you wish to fish🎣), flag retirement ceremony and much more! Dinner and breakfast will be provided by the pack.🍔

Please check your email for more details. Be on the lookout in your email for the sign up so that we can prepare for the appropriate amount of participants. Friends and family are welcome, be sure to include them in your sign up.

Our 2nd Den Meeting is tonight at the Scout Hut at 6:30pm!

Please join us for our first campout at First United Methodist Church Belmont this Saturday! Set up will begin at 3pm. This is a great opportunity for beginners to get a little practice but will be just as fun for the pros! Activities and dinner will be provided. Friends welcome!

FUMC has invited us to attend service and enjoy a hot breakfast Sunday morning. Please sign up below so we know how much food we need for dinner and also indicate if you will be eating breakfast by putting the word "Breakfast"
