The Brendan Grant Foundation

The Brendan Grant Foundation On the evening of June 27th 2001, Brendan Peter Anthony Grant was playing left field for the Belmont Senior Babe Ruth team at Belmont High School.

In pursuit of a fly ball during the 6th inning, Brendan collided with a teammate and sustained fatal injuries from the random on-field accident. In the wake of that tragic occurrence, The Brendan Grant Foundation was created to honor the memory of a young man who exhibited a true passion for life. As a student at Belmont High School, Brendan participated in varsity football, wrestling, and basebal

l. In his senior year ('99-'00), he captained the Marauder wrestling and baseball teams. At American International College in Springfield, MA, Brendan became a first-year starter for the Yellow Jacket baseball team during the spring of 2001. Each Father's Day, Brendan's Home Run 5k lets us come together to celebrate the best family values that define our great community.
