Friends of the Belmont Public Library

The Friends of the Belmont Library is a volunteer nonprofit organization that supports the Belmont Library (MA) and its vital community role.

Through donations and book sales, we fund programs and services beyond the town budget.

🌿✨ Special author event tomorrow night at the library! ✨🌿
We hope you will join us at 7:30pm in Morrissey Hall or Zoom to hear from children's author and Belmont resident Elaine Dimopoulos for an evening talk — "The Story Outside Your Window"! Elaine will discuss the way the flora and fauna of Belmont inspired her award-winning children’s book series.
Belmont Books will be on hand for book sales, and Elaine will sign copies of her Milkweed Meadow series.

🌿✨ Special Author Event! ✨🌿
We are delighted to welcome children's author and Belmont resident Elaine Dimopoulos for an evening talk — "The Story Outside Your Window"!
🦋 Elaine will share how the flora and fauna of our very own Belmont inspired her award-winning Milkweed Meadow children’s series. She will place her own writing experience in the tradition of authors such as Beatrix Potter, who studied local landscapes to create anthropomorphic animal stories for children.
