WE'RE LIVE Y'ALL!!

09/18/2018

If we have any veterans who have been through mental illness or just want to be a listening ear, we are looking for sponsors. The sponsor list will have your name and phone number with the state you are in, so a veteran who is having issues or just needs to talk can connect with you. Help the cause and help another veteran who is in a dark place.

We are officially online! We know that the subject we are approaching is somewhat daunting, but there is so much hope for healing. Website is in the works and should be complete by tomorrow! Please share so we can make this a reality and set up a veteran support network!

In the military, we get used to comradery. After discharge or even a new duty station, sometimes we feel alone or "stuck in the mud". That's where we found a disconnect. We noticed that so many veterans know about mental health but it is a stigma no one likes to talk about. So here we are, anonymous or not... but out in the open. If we all think we are alone in this life, then we're together in that too. You're never a burden or a bother here, you are not alone.

"Anything that is human is mentionable, and anything that is mentionable can be more manageable. When we can talk about our feelings, they become less overwhelming, less upsetting, and less scary. The people we trust with that important talk can help us know that we are not alone."
