Congratulations to Senior Scholarship Recipient Jacob Brokaw!

Jacob received the Milo Breitinger Memorial Scholarship Fund for Skilled Trade.

The Mile Breitinger Memorial Scholarship Fund for Skilled Trades is in memory of entrepreneur Milo Breitinger who worked since high school at the Breitinger Company. The company began as a machine fabrication job shop but has since added production, metal stamping, robotic welding, bending, hydroforming, and assembly. Milo shared his knowledge with many young employees and family members. This scholarship not only serves as a tribute to Milo but also creates educational opportunities for those entering the skilled trades.

The scholarship will be awarded to a high school graduate with a 2.0 grade point average or above on a 4.0 system. This student in his/her last year of high school must have attended at least 160 days of classes. The student must be entering a skilled trade, which can include precision machining, metal fabrication & welding, HVAC, electrical systems, robotics, or similar trade.

Congratulations to Senior Scholarship Recipient Alyson Brokaw!

Alyson received the G. F. Stoodt Family Scholarship in Math.

G. F. Stoodt Family Scholarship in Math was the first endowed scholarship established in 1993 at the Clear Fork Valley Foundation by Margery Stoodt and is presented annually to a student outstanding in Math.

Congratulations to Senior Scholarship Recipient Milee Carillon!

Milee received the D’ Wisenbarger Memorial Scholarship.

The D’ Wisenbarger Memorial Scholarship was created in 2023 by her son Tony Wisenbarger and family. This scholarship will be given to a student who would like to pursue a nursing career.

Although D’ did not have a nursing degree herself, she always said she would have loved to become a nurse.

D’ retired from Richland Bank in Butler, Ohio in 2011. Retirement did not stop her from staying busy with the community, friends, and family. With help from friends, she started the Clear Fork Butler Nutrition Center, among countless other community projects, support groups, and volunteerisms. D’ was known for her famous homemade jelly and giving the best hugs. She loved making homemade donuts with her children, grandchildren, and neighborhood kids. D’ Wisenbarger was inducted into the Area Agency of Aging Hall of Fame for all her accomplishments, including an ALS support group and many more. This scholarship is given, in her honor, to an aspiring nursing student.

Congratulations to Senior Scholarship Recipient Ava Carr!

Ava received the Kathie Joy Carr Memorial Scholarship.

The Kathie Carr Memorial Scholarship was established in 2001 by Bud and Diane Carr. Kathie was a 1996 graduate and a 3-sport athlete excelling in volleyball, basketball, and softball. Kathie was known as a quiet leader by one of her coaches and loved being challenged from the 3-point line in basketball. In her senior year, Kathie was given the Archie Griffin award, which exemplifies outstanding sportsmanship, integrity, leadership, positive attitude, academic discipline, and volunteerism. If you knew Kathie, you knew you were sure to be greeted with a beautiful smile and a warm hug. She was adored by all the young ones in her family and in sports and was always willing to mentor them. Always being humble and having love for family, God, and country were Kathie’s priorities. She also served in the Air Force and stood up for what she believed in. These are qualities to honor Kathie and pay it forward to a deserving senior.

The Carr family wants to honor a student who has similar characteristics as Kathie. Priority will be given to a student continuing in a health-related field, early childhood development/psychology, or a branch of the military.

Congratulations to Senior Scholarship Recipient Sabree Caudill!

Sabree received the Nancy Martin Memorial Scholarship.

This scholarship, endowed by the Clear Fork Valley Foundation and her family and friends, is in memory of Nancy Martin, a valued Foundation board member. Nancy was a teacher in the Clear Fork School District and everywhere she went – she taught of our duty to one another, she taught of the strength to be found in love, she taught of the satisfaction to be gained in service to others, and she taught of the joy to be found everywhere, if only we would look for it.

This scholarship is awarded to a student with a 2.5-3.5 GPA who wants to use his/her problem-solving skills to help other people. It goes to a student who plans to pursue a technical degree, licensing certification, or associate’s degree.

Congratulations to Senior Scholarship Recipient Reece Cook!

Reece received the Steven John Bryant Scholarship.

The Bryant scholarship was endowed in 1996 by his parents Mr. and Mrs. Harry Bryant and their family. The award is based on selection criteria as applied by CFHS faculty. The winner is the student most often nominated by teachers and staff who has not been chosen for another CFVF scholarship. Students do not apply.
