Hey Qbar-cuties,
Still setting up plans for this month's regular Qbar, but wanted to send out an announcement for this year's Saint Gaudens picnic.
We're heading back to Saint Gaudens National Historical Park for a picnic and to partake in the summer concert series.
Date: Sunday August 23rd, 1 pm picnic, concert starts at 2 pm.
This year the band is the Villalobos Brothers, a Mexican fiddle trio. Lite snacks will be brought, but you are very welcome to bring a picnic or pick up some food over in Windsor. Qbar will be picking on the lawn starting at 1 pm. Concert is on the art studio porch starting at 2 pm. Come for the picnic, stay for the concert and stay until sunset if you want. We'll have a few blankets to stretch out on.
Saint Gaudens is located at 139 Saint Gaudens Road, Cornish, NH 03745, just a little ways up on route 12A from the Windsor/Cornish covered bridge.
There is a fee to enter the park. $10 for a seven day pass. You can buy entrance pass at https://www.recreation.gov/sitepass/2916 before hand or with a credit card at the park. If you've never been to the park check it out at: www.nps.gov/saga/index.htm
