Nonprofit seeks Director/Coordinator
Location: Bellows Falls, VT
Compensation: based on experience

Lead Safe & Healthy Homes is a nonprofit program of Parks Place Community Resource Center based in Bellows Falls, VT. The program is dedicated to educating families about healthy indoor environments and training contractors and landlords in lead safe work practices. We're looking for a self-starter that is willing to learn about federal and state lead laws. The Program Director will work closely with Development staff to ensure continued funding of the program and will work with the Executive Director and Board of Parks Place to ensure activities are in line with program goals and mission. Grant writing and reporting is an important part of this position. Experience in outreach and media relations is a plus.
Successful candidates will:
• Have a bachelor’s degree
• Have experience in fundraising or development
• Have exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Experience and a high level of comfort with public speaking and presentation
• Be highly organized and detail oriented
• Knowledge or experience in building trades or residential property management a plus
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office – graphic design experience a plus
• Have the ability to communicate effectively with varied and diverse audiences
• Have a vehicle and a valid driver’s license
