To all the CJK supporters:

Sadly I had to make a decision and unfortunately there will be no 2025 scholarship funds handed out this year.

Due to FB blocking my posts for the last raffle, I was not able to sell enough tickets so I had to pay out of my own pocket to secure the 2 raffle items to close that out.

Tom Call started this raffle in 2016 and there was never a “large sum” to start with as he funded it out of his own pocket each year at graduation time. With Tom’s death, I had to start from scratch. I know he would kick me for stopping it.

I’m hoping to do something else to gather funds for a 2026 scholarship.

I am doing a scholarship raffle again for Chris Kurkul Scholarship for 2 Rugers, 2 chances to win

If you have already bought tickets from me, I’m upgrading your 1 $20 ticket to 3 for $25 and I’ll pay the difference. I need this raffle to go and end fast before hunting season and the pickup of both is completed before Scott Falzo goes hunting.

Due to Facebook shutting me off 2x on both pages, I cannot post details for what the raffle is
but I’m sure you can guess but message me and I’ll send you details

They are both in Scott’s possession. You must pass the background check.

Thank you to the family and friends of Chris for donating to the scholarship fund.

With all of the end of year school events and other raffles, I am holding off for a few weeks before I start a raffle for the fund to continue to build it up for the future.

I appreciate everyone and their generosity for current and future scholarships✌🏻❤️

Welcome to 2024 where scholarship season & graduation is upon us…I have 2 deserving applicants this year and with your help, I can make sure both receive a scholarship, $500 each will be given out. It’s not much but it helps towards books.

If you would be interested in making a donation to the fund, please make your check payable to Chris Kurkul Scholarship and mail to my attention—c/o Marcy, PO Box 243, Westminster VT 05158, VENMO is an option, mailing direct or stopping at Mascoma Bank in Walpole NH is also an option.

I’m considering a quick fundraiser also so stay tuned

Life has been busy and time has gotten away from me and I’ve contemplated about closing this out but the originator of this scholarship, Tom Call, would kick me square in the ### if I did that so in memory of both Chris & Tom, I will try again this year.

Please consider supporting this scholarship intended for BFUHS graduating seniors

The scholarship(s) is for a graduating BFUHS senior or seniors who plan to further their education education at a trade or technical school or into an agricultural field. Will be announced at BFUHS class night.

Due to the loss of Thomas Call on 8/16/22, who started this scholarship 7 years ago and solely funded it, I, as admin of the fund, I am trying to keep it going not only for Tom but for Chris, both BFUHS Class of 1992 graduates.

Funding 2 scholarships depends on funds at Class Night

I will continue to update this page with more information soon
