Barkley Toasters had a wonderful spring and summer 2025. We won the Most Inspirational Club Award from District 2 at our Annual Conference in May and for the 3rd straight year we have earned the highest Club achievement, President's Distinguished. Our membership has grown to a high of 24 this year so we are adjusting and adapting to the new speaking needs of our group.
Club members are also stepping out and giving talks and presentations elsewhere such as Janice starting the year giving an hour long wildlife photography presentation at a Parks and Recreation Travelodge Series, Britany speaking at Village Books on Publishing her Book, and Amy speaking to the Young Professionals' Club in Bellingham about the program Blue Skies for Children, a much needed program in Bellingham that helps underprivileged children with things that help them thrive in our community.
But that is not all! Our President this year, Christy, was the Chaplain at the Parents of Twins Conference this year in Tucson, AZ and gave several short inspirational speeches during the conference.
