Rainmaker is a leading manufacturer of durable guzzlers, drinkers and water troughs for use in wildlife habitat improvement projects. These products are designed to withstand years of exposure to the elements in arid regions. Water for these systems can be provided by using rain collections systems, well water or plumbed water. In Plumas County, California, Forest Ecology students from Portola Junior/Senior High School — led by teacher Dave Valle — installed two Dome-Top Guzzlers as part of their outdoor classroom project.

The guzzlers were placed on the school’s 12-acre Learning Landscape, giving students firsthand experience in wildlife stewardship while providing a critical water source for local animals.

From education to habitat restoration, Rainmaker products are making a difference — in the wild and in the next generation of conservationists.

A Drinker-40 was added to a property in southern Arizona to provide water for a diverse mix of animals. To the delight of the landowner, deer, elk, fox, bobcat, and javelina are now visiting the site on a regular basis day and night.
