Congratulations to all the Happy Valley alumni graduating this weekend! They returned to the Happy Valley halls and were cheered on by all our current students, and they even enjoyed a little extracurricular time with Mrs. Flink in the gym! We are so proud of all of you!

For those Happy Valley families interested in Wild Whatcom programs for next school year: registration opens Monday, June 1st.

Wild Whatcom will be picking up from HV on Mondays and Tuesdays again for the 26-27 school year. Fall session will be offered Sept 7 - Dec 14. Visit the Wild Whatcom website to learn more and register.

Are you ready to BUZZ into SUMMER? It's our last community event of the year, the annual Spring Fling, a Happy Valley Tradition! Come any time after 6pm, and enjoy food, games, and fun, with all your Hornet pals. Friday 5/29 6-8pm on the HV Playground. Parent supervision required! Want to help out? We can always use a hand! Hey, artists of Happy Valley! We are looking for a few folks to help with a face painting station at the Spring Fling next Friday!
Kids will be given a choice from 4 sample designs (rainbow, bee, caterpillar, or fox), all supplies will be provided, and you can choose to help for half hour, hour, or more - whatever suits your schedule! We have a volunteer coordinating the station - we just need a couple people to help out so more kids can enjoy having their face painted for the event. Please comment or send us a DM if you're willing to help! Thank you!! 🎨

Spring Fling will be here soon! We have a lot of fun games for the kids to play, but only if we get volunteers! Please don't delay - sign up today!

The staff are ready to be soaked, but we need volunteers to help operate the Splash the Staff game! Flink'a'Dink, Estimation Station, Hole-in-Fun, Gone Fishing, and Feed the Whales all need volunteers so that the games don't get canceled. Leading a game is incredibly fun & easy - just help the kids play the game and then give them a prize! :)

Middle school, high school, or college age sibling at home? Bring them along to this epic family night - they can also volunteer!

Please join us for the last PTA General Meeting of the school year! This is one of the most important PTA meetings of the year - we will elect new officers and vote on the draft budget for next year, and we will hear important updates from Principal Gouveia about the district budget and how it impacts our school. 🌞Spring Fling: Buzzing into Summer 🐝
Friday, May 29th, 6-8pm

Mark your calendars and get excited for our epic annual carnival celebration! This year is going to be amazing! There will be games, activities, entertainment, and food. You do not want to miss this awesome family night!

As always, great events take people power. We need LOTS of volunteers to bring Spring Fling to life! Volunteer slot are designed to ensure that you will still have time to enjoy the event. Parents, guardians, grandparents, and family/ friends are all welcome to volunteer. Older siblings, HV alumni, and students from WWU, Sehome, and Fairhaven are also welcome to volunteer at a game station!
