This dinner was special. It was Thanksgiving blessing. Over $400 in prime rib was donated from the OR dept. at St. Jose. And each of us put in our time, finances, and most of all, heart into each meal we prepare! THANK YOU Dr’s for your donation, but mostly, thank you everyone for the preparation and time and love you put into these meals.
Thats our purpose. To be a kind, compassionate human being handing them hot meal and any resources we have to help. It’s about remembering where we came from and how hard we worked to get where we are and to show them that it’s possible and they can do it too.
While I (Carrie ), am going to school to be a substance use counselor, I’m learning there there are so many resources out there and that knowledge is being brought to them by faces they now trust. To build rapport.
We’re just a few people making a HUGE difference. It’s just a slow process, but we have seen many successes in our 2 years of experience.

Been really bad at this social media stuff but just because your not seeing us so it here does not mean we’re not doing it and still need everyone’s help.

Love2Hope is excited to host our Free Pet Vaccination Clinic this Thursday to care for the unhoused community and their pets.

At the clinic, we will provide:
🐶 For Dogs: Rabies, Distemper, Parvovirus vaccines
🐱 For Cats: Feline Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Feline Leukemia vaccines
💊 For All Pets: Free dewormer to protect against parasites that can cause illness, anemia, and even life-threatening blockages.

We’ll also be offering:

✂️ Free nail trimming to help pets walk comfortably

This Jen and we are so proud of this woman!! We as in Jeremiah Wi******er too, were able to get her into detox from the encampment last November. She has over 100 days clean now!! Kalamalka INK Tattoo gave her a free tattoo of her clean date to honor her sobriety. She made it out and is doing the damn thing. She now has a life with her kids and grandchildren! We’re cheering you on!! So many people think that they are not worth the time and that is so far from the truth. They do want better lives and most of the time they just need someone to walk with them. And that’s what we do. It’s why we’re out there giving out food and hand warmers every Sunday. To build relationships because every life matters!!

We are out serving hot baked potatoes with topping tonight all around Bellingham. Socks, hats, blankets, batteries, warmers, (thanks to other community members) coffee or cocoa but what we’ve added new is Doggie Bags. Comes with some food, treats, and some p**p bags so their doggie can eat with them. Thank you misfits crew. You’re all wonderfully made sharing your hearts and your time to feed the hungry.
